Online Registration Support
Users of the Chief Seattle Council website experiencing difficulties completing online registrations should contact the council office via email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 206-725-5200 and ask for the online registration assistant. This person will try to help resolve the support issue before escalating the problem directly to the website administrators.
Refund Policy and Procedure for Cub Scout Day Camp
Purpose of Refund Policy
Once a registration has been paid, an individual could become ill or otherwise unable to attend camp. Since the council will have already incurred expenses related to program supplies and food costs, not all fees paid are refundable.
Fees are refundable only if a unit or camper cannot be placed in the camp or dates chosen, or a 50% refund of fees paid may be issued in the case of accident, illness, or extreme extenuating circumstances, if requested in writing at least 15 days prior to the event. Within two weeks of the event and following, no refunds will be made available. (Examples of circumstances NOT qualifying are conflicts between camp and activities like sports or band trips.) All day camp refund request s must be written to your district executive. Refunds are not made at camp!

When making the refund request, please include the Scout's name, unit number, camp name and date registered, and the name and address where the refund check is to be sent.
We intend to provide for our volunteer leaders every possible convenience and service that is practical to the medium.
We will provide information and ideas that will enrich the experience of both our youth and adult members.
We hope to attract unaffiliated young people and prospective volunteers who might apply for membership.
We will provide the opportunity for members in our communities to learn about Scouting from an accurate source.
The Chief Seattle Council website is not finished, nor will it ever be. Due to National Council regulations, maintenance issues, and privacy protection, we are unable to implement certain items.

The information that follows explains the kinds of information Chief Seattle Council collects, how it is used, the conditions under which it is made available to third parties, how information is maintained, and our compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
An employee or volunteer of Chief Seattle Council, Boy Scouts of America, who reports waste, fraud, or abuse will not be terminated or otherwise retaliated against for making the report.
The report will be investigated and even if determined not to be waste, fraud, or abuse, the individual making the report will not be retaliated against. There will be no punishment for reporting problems - including termination of employment, demotion, suspension, harassment, failure to consider the employee for promotion, or any other kind of discrimination.
Suspected fraud, theft or any other compliance violations may be reported anonymously or confidentially by calling the compliance hotline at (877) 269-5669. The hotline is provided by an independent vendor hired by the council. Allegations will be communicated directly to a designated board member (Board Chairman or Vice President for Governance) who will direct an investigation. The investigation will include interviews with immediate supervisors, peers, affected volunteers, and others as deemed appropriate to resolve the allegation.
Boy Scouts of America requires Youth Protection training for all volunteers. The purpose of this policy is to increase awareness of this societal problem and to create even greater barriers to abuse than already exist in Scouting.
